Passionate veterinarian: come and join our Emergency Department!
Daubigny Veterinary Center is looking for an experienced and dedicated veterinarian to join our dynamic team in the emergency department, within our patient admission department with the possibility of moving to the intensive care station if desired. You will play a key role in the initial assessment of animals, their timely management, and the coordination of emergency care.
Your missions:
- Accueil des animaux en urgence : Assurer un premier contact avec les propriétaires et leurs animaux en situation critique ou non-planifiée.
- Rapid Clinical Assessment: Perform a complete and accurate examination of patients' health status.
- Priority Management: Identify life-threatening emergencies and refer animals to appropriate care.
- Close collaboration with the care team: Work hand in hand with other veterinarians, and the care team for optimal care of the animals.
- Communication with owners: Provide clear and reassuring information, explaining treatments and next steps.
Profile sought:
- Veterinary diploma recognized in Quebec.
- Experience in veterinary emergencies or a strong willingness to learn in this field.
- Passionate about emergency care and timely case management.
- Excellent communication skills with pet owners.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Autonomy, responsiveness, team spirit.
